Desired Skills & Experience:
Understanding TCP/IP.(L2 and L3 devices)
Basic knowledge hardware devices, network equipment , connectivity and work process.
Extensive experience with Windows X , configuring and administering.
Work experience with Microsoft Windows, using MS Windows built-in command/tools for troubleshooting common problems.
A logical approach to problem solving coupled with common sense.
Fluency in English and Azerbaijani languages
Bachelor's degree
Responsibilities:
Support staff in their use of ICT; log support requests and outcomes and ensure kept up-to date.
Detect, diagnose and resolve issues with hardware and software
Install, maintain and relocate IT equipment across the site as required
Perform basic hardware repairs and upgrades to IT equipment
Ensure the physical security of IT equipment across the business
Follow virus protection, anti-spy ware and security procedures
Escalate contract/warranty issues appropriately to suppliers
Supervise third party specialists or contractors installing peripheral equipment
Dispose of obsolete equipment in an appropriate manner
Network support
Installation and monitoring of network printers
Ensure smooth operation of wireless networks
Install software across the network and ensure that software works for all relevant network users.
Assist with maintaining a software library including licence documentation and copies of agreements
Assist with maintaining the hardware inventory
Ensure that backup tapes changed daily in accordance with back up policy
Project management of external suppliers
Adhere to all ICT policies and contribute to their on-going review
Adhere to company purchasing guidelines and budgetary controls
Work schedule: Monday – Friday, from 9:00 till 18:00.
