Key Responsibilities

• Advise local and international clients on corporate, banking, and finance matters under Azerbaijani law
• Participate in financing transactions, including acquisition and project finance
• Conduct legal due diligence, risk assessments, and covenant analysis
• Draft and review legal documentation related to corporate and financial transactions
• Coordinate transaction processes involving multiple jurisdictions
• Work closely with other practice areas such as Corporate/M&A, Infrastructure, and Real Estate
• Communicate directly with clients and provide practical legal solutions

Requirements

• Law degree and qualification under Azerbaijani law
• 0–3 years of experience in Corporate, Banking & Finance (law firm or in-house)
• Strong interest in financial transactions and commercial law
• Excellent Azerbaijani and English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of an international team

Nice to Have

• Experience or internships in banking or finance-related legal work
• LL.M. or other internationally recognized academic qualifications
• Knowledge of additional foreign languages
