Technical Sales Specialist - Metering and Measurement Instrumentation and Process Control Solutions / Industrial Tools and Components of Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and Industrial Sectors - Caspian Region

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing sales strategies to scope, plan and successfully deliver winning proposals for existing and/or key account(s).
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships in a market where trust and partnership are critical.
  • Creating detailed and application specific technical proposals for major material scope, especially for flow, pressure, temperature and level metering and measurement, radiation and flame detectors, gas & moister analyzers, valves and components.
  • Participating in tenders, pricing, and commercial negotiations to secure new business
  • Tracking and manage opportunities using CRM for accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Collaborating with supply chain, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Visiting customers and travel as required to maintain engagement and identify opportunities.
  • Develop multi-PL business development strategies with special focus on metering and measurement instrumentation and process control solutions, radiation and flame detection, gas & moister analyzers, industrial valves and components. 
  • Addressing budget considerations for proposals as well as addressing technical specifications with the client in conjunction with technical sales.
  • In conjunction with Tech Sales and Sales VP/Director responsible for negotiations, inc; contract and their extensions ensuring ERP/internal register is kept up to date as well as liaise with legal as necessary for drafting.
  • Assemble and disseminate market intelligence including gathering client feedback

Experience/ Skills&Education:

  • Have extensive working experience as an Account Sales and/or Engineer with in-depth technical knowledge.
  • Be fluent in Azerbaijani (oral and written), English and Russian – preferable.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Familiarity with the latest developments in sales management techniques
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects under tight schedules, relaxed under pressure 
  • Be able to show good problem-solving and analytical skills along with interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Must be a team player with good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrate ability to influence others and lead small teams and ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
  • Have an ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. 
  • Higher education diploma is required
