Senior Instrumentation and Control Designer
Job Description
Senior Instrumentation and Controls Designer to work with an international team on the detailed design phase of a Refinery Project. Report to the Lead Instrumentation Engineer of the Project. This role will be responsible for providing design support on EPC/EPCM projects and capable of performing the responsibilities listed below independently.
Qualification
Diploma in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or equivalent
Experience
Min 10 Years’ experience in FEED, Detail engineering and, EPC project for Oil and Gas Project. Experience in revamping project for refinery will be added advantages.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out work in accordance with company and project Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems,
2. Carry out the work as per project scope, project standard and relevant international standard,
3. Prepare instrument drawings and designs to the required technical quality with minimum input from engineering personnel,
4. Prepare 3D model for instrumentation design in SP3D,
5. Participation of 3D model review with other departments,
6. Review design documents like instruments location plan, cable tray layout, cable list, Hookup drawing, loop drawing, MTO. Guide Instrument designer in their work. Maintain quality of the deliverable,
7. Site Survey,
8. Coordination with other departments and clients/EPC contractor.
Software Skill
1. SP3D, SPI
2. 2D software (ACAD, Micro station as per project requirements).
3. Microsoft office
