Role Overview
We are looking for a senior-level software engineer to join a fast-moving startup environment. This role requires someone who can design, build, and own end-to-end systems, work comfortably across backend and frontend, and lead a small engineering team. You will be expected to take ownership, make decisions with incomplete information, and ship continuously.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend and frontend systems.
- Own technical architecture and make practical decisions under startup constraints.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a small engineering team.
- Write and review high-quality, production-ready code.
- Work closely with product and business stakeholders to turn vague requirements into working solutions.
- Take responsibility for delivery, system reliability, and technical debt.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong backend development experience (APIs, databases, system design).
- Solid frontend experience with modern frameworks.
- Proven experience leading or managing engineers.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment with changing priorities.
- High ownership mentality and ability to execute without hand-holding.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Go (Golang).
- Experience building frontend applications with React.
- Experience scaling early-stage systems.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD.
- Prior experience as a tech lead in a startup.
